Yesterday (excluding the school and ELL symposium part) was, as all 2H outings always are, fun! After finding out that I misplaced my wallet (which I’m really sad about, because that was my favourite wallet ever), Jiele and I went over to SMU to meet the rest at Settlers’. Instead of going in to play games, we sat outside and took out our own decks of Monopoly Deal and Taboo cards instead hahaha. (I do not understand why either, but hey, it saves money!) Taboo was great fun as always; people getting into laughing fits is either the most hilarious or frustrating thing ever (depending on which team you happen to be in)! Then we posed for the mandatory group photos, and Shaowei got caught in an awkward compromising position, can’t wait for that to be up on Facebook!
Walked over in the hopes of eating Astons’, but those hopes were dashed when we could see the queue from inside the lift, so we went to Plaza Sing instead. Bought whatever catered to our individual tastes and then went to sit outside amongst the smokers. I love cosy family time like these. We started talking about hairbands and what not, and then Shir and I decided we absolutely have to shit together at that very minute, so off we went. After much searching for each other, the 6 of us (minus Ruth and Shao) finally (and accidentally) met up together, borrowed a lighter from a bunch of cute smokers from the mainland, and surprised (well, we tried) Ruth with a brownie that we bought from our toilet trip! (hmmm..) The bus ride back was interesting especially for Mave because the poor girl has been living under a rock the past year, and needed to be updated on the shocking affairs that have been happening in school the past year.
I hope a kind soul has returned her wallet!
